About reading with other poets and at concert venues, Todd says:

A group exhibition is always more interesting than a one-person show, and the same is true of poetry. Artists are in dialogue with one another—we all are—and it’s invigorating to be part of that, both for artists and audiences.

“Verse and Converse” at Nina’s Cafe, St. Paul

Todd Boss is the poet laureate of Nina’s Cafe, just upstairs from Garrison Keillor’s Common Good Books at Selby and Western in St. Paul. With support from the bookshop, he organizes “Verse and Converse,” a poetry reading series featuring poets reading round-robin style. Begun in May 2007, the series has brought more than 400 people to readings by more than 30 poets.
